FINAL CALL for submissions for the first London Irish Short Play Festival #LISP fest- Closing 9th Sept

B4B have been delighted with the diverse range of plays that have been submitted for consideration for the first London Irish Short Play Festival so far. 

With the closing date fast approaching, we are confident there are more budding writers out there, with stories to tell who are yet to get in touch before tomorrows deadline. We are looking forward to a weekend immersed in scripts & lots of coffee!

B4B bring "A Fit Wife For A Revolutionary" & a brand new play to Dublin!

B4B productions are delighted to be bringing their hit show "A Fit Wife For A Revolutionary" to Dublin's Smock Alley Theatre this November. Following a brilliant debut run at the London Irish Centre earlier this year to mark the 1916 centenary celebrations, the team were keen to bring the show "home" & are delighted to be producing the Dublin run as part of a double bill titled "Unshakeable Spirits", which will also feature a new play, written by B4B director Cillian O'Donnachadha. Cillian has been working on "Left Hand Lost" for the past 6 months, which is a one woman play exploring the extraordinary life & musical achievments of the Emmy award winning songwriter, Dory Previn, which will star Dublin actress Laura Kelly.

"LIZA" packs the house at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham

After a hugely successful night as part of Camden Fringe, "Somewhere Under The Rainbow" hot footed it to the beautiful  Old Joint Stock Theatre in Birmingham last weekend, where an extra date had to be added to meet demand. A very welcoming, intimate and special venue, Biscuits for Breakfast look forward to making their return here at some point in the future.

***Seeking Submissions*** LISP festival

B4B are delighted to be working in association with the London Irish Centre to produce the first London Irish Short Play Festival! We are currently seeking submissions from any Irish writers / writers of Irish Heritage  based in London.

Matinée added to The Old Stock Join, Birmingham!

After a sell out run at Greater Manchester Fringe & Henley Festival, Biscuits For Breakfast are delighted to be bringing  "Somewhere Under The Rainbow" to The Old Stock Joint Theatre in Bimingham on Sat 3rd September.  The company are excited to play this infamous pub theatre venue for the first time and are delighted to announce that due to popular demand, an extra show has now been added. Another Glowing Review for Liza From Henley !

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beautiful Town Hall Chambers in Henley.  Despite the basking sun "Liza" managed to draw the crowds indoors and it seemed the Henley papers joined them and enjoyed it! "This is not the last we will hear of Sharon Sexton nor this talented team" "Not one to be missed", "exceptional"  "glorious"

"Somewhere Under The Rainbow" receives the Critic Gold Stamp From Reviews Hub

Biscuits For Breakfast were delighted to recieve the 5 star Critic's Gold Stamp award from The Reviews Hub Team for their production of "Somewhere Under The Rainbow" at this year's Brighton Fringe Festival. The show was also nominated for Best Cabaret! The company have continued to tour the Fringe Circuit this summer, selling out three packed shows at The Swan in Dobcross, and another two nights at Henley Fringe! Next stop Camde on Fri 19th August!
